Start your degree in the financial markets now

The MSc Investment Management (IM) is now open for enrolment for the September 2015 start. This post graduate degree provides candidates with a great opportunity to enter a career related to the financial markets, either in China or internationally. The degree is awarded by the University of Liverpool (UK) and taught fully in English. IBSS is unique as a university in China with the IBSS Financial Lab and Trading Floor providing instruction using state-of-the-art analytics systems from Thomson Reuters. The programme has also been formally recognised under the CFA Institute University Recognition Program and candidates will be supported in their study towards CFA Level I exam in June of the following year.

18 Feb 2015 update. It has been a great first cohort for the MSc IM at IBSS (2014-15) with all students completing their Thomson Reuters EIKON certificate training and obtaining work internships with our corporate partners in Shanghai. Though, as the progrmme grows in student numbers, we cannot guarantee all students an internship, the experience to date has been very good in this “practice-based degree” where we emphasise applied learning and employability.

I know most connections on LI are experienced and working in industry. However, if you know of a young person who is interested in a post graduate degree in the financial markets then please make them aware of the opportunity at IBSS.
